Saraswati Pooja is celebrated in the month of Magh(as per Nepali Calendar) or in January/February (as per international calendar).This festival is celebrated on the 5th Day of waxy moon (when the size of moon is observed increasing ) during spring season.So, Saraswati Pooja is also called Basant(means Spring) Panchami(means five).
